St. Mary’s Academy is proud to recognize President Rogers for being selected as a McLeod Fellow, a prestigious honor awarded by Black Minds Matter to distinguished Black educational leaders. Named in tribute to the pioneering educator Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, the McLeod Society Fellowship recognizes individuals committed to advancing educational excellence and innovation within Black communities.

As a McLeod Fellow, Ms. Rogers will have the opportunity to engage in advocacy training, media engagement, financial support, and networking with other leaders dedicated to uplifting Black students nationwide. Her selection is a testament to her dedication to empowering students at St. Mary’s Academy and beyond. This fellowship not only honors Ms. Rogers' leadership but also reinforces SMA’s mission to provide transformative education and opportunities for all students.
