Early Childhood Skills
Our program is a state funded program that teaches the students through a combination of large group, small group, and center based learning. The students are introduced to a new theme each month. Through this monthly theme, the Benchmarks and Standards for Pre-K are taught. The monthly themes we will be working on this year are:
Our pre-school program is designed to develop basic concepts, attitudes, and skills as well as capitalize on each child’s propensity to create. At times the development of your child’s self-esteem and confidence is of paramount importance. To build a broad foundation for your child’s success as a student, we will be focusing upon these essential early childhood skills:
APPLICATIONS FOR THE NSECD PRE-K 4 PROGRAM ARE AVAILABLE IN THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OFFICE – BUILDING B-13.
SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS MUST INCLUDE: ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, UPDATED LINKS WEBSITE IMMUNIZATION RECORD (AVAILABLE FROM PEDIATRICIAN), PROOF OF RESIDENCE (DRIVER’S LICENSE OR UTILITY BILL IN PARENT’S NAME), PROOF OF INCOME (2 RECENT CHECK STUBS, MEDICAID OR FOOD STAMP VERIFICATION LETTER FROM DSS OR PROOF OF SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS FOR THE CHILD).
ALL COMPLETE APPLICATIONS ARE SUBMITTED TO THE STATE FOR APPROVAL.
INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED.
